I'm already grumpy enough about text messages, to begin with, that I will regularly respond switching to email, and then I'll go off from there. I don't want to type on my phone, that's not a thing. And it turns out that the primary way that I interact with text messages is by replying to them through my computer. Text messages were no longer showing up on my computer.
